Meet the Founder
Birth Song Botanicals was founded by Maria Chowdhury, a lifelong student of plants, women’s wisdom, and the natural world.
Maria’s path began in the mountains of Northern California, where her early connection to land and plants shaped a life devoted to service. After years as a Certified Professional Midwife and herbalist, she began crafting custom herbal remedies for women and families—formulas rooted in care, tradition, and lived experience.
In 2009, these remedies became Birth Song Botanicals.
