We infuse olive oil, with our proprietary herbal blend of antifungal, and antibacterial herbs that nourish, soothe, and repair painful nipples. Our herbal Nipple Salve for nipple pain does not need to be wiped off prior to nursing because we didn't add any lanolin, which may contain pesticides; or Vitamin E which should not be ingested by infants.
All of Nipple Salve's ingredients are safe for ingestion so it does not need to be washed off prior to nursing. Apply as often as needed, especially after each feeding.
Nipple Salve is also wonderful to massage into your belly and breast to nourish and hydrate your skin while it stretches and grows. Your skin is your largest organ and keeping your skin as healthy as possible along with proper hydration, helps prevent stretch marks.
Herbal Salve for Nipple Pain Suggested Use and Directions: Soften a small amount between two fingers. A little goes a long way. Apply salve after breastfeeding, or as needed. May also apply before or after showering for extra soothing protection.
